Regardless of your mode of travel, traveling with a newborn is easier than you might think. Little ones are often lulled to sleep by car and/or plane trips… much like they are when they hear the vacuum cleaner.
You really don’t have to pack a great deal, for a newborn. Formula and bottles, clothing, a handful of infant toys, a basic first aid kit and enough disposable diapers (plus a few extra) to get to your destination. Once you get to where you’re going you can purchase enough for the remainder of your trip.
If you’ll be saying in a hotel, ask if they provide a playpen or baby bed for guest use. If they do that is one less thing that you have to pack. Even if it costs a few more dollars the convenience outweighs the cost.
