Hertz and Nickelodeon are teaming up to provide children with an enjoyable entertainment option, while traveling in a rental car. (This move should significantly decrease the number of times frazzled parents hear the phrase ‘are we there yet’, during a long road trip.)
The device consists of a touch screen player that can actually be used inside or outside, of the vehicle. ‘Nick on the Go’, as it is called costs anywhere from $15-$20 per day. It is loaded with 40 hours of Nickelodeon programming, suitable for children of all ages.
Shows include: Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Zoey101, Drake & Josh and The Last Airbender.
Players can be reserved online, as part of the rental process. It is located in the same section as the booster seats and the Sirius radios.
