If you are looking for a top family hotel in Monterey California, the Butterfly Grove Inn is worth your consideration. Children under 18 years of age stay free.

If you visit the area from October through March you can even watch the migrating Monarch butterfly’s as they call the Eucalyptus grove, behind the hotel, their home.

The inn, located at the tip of the Monterey Peninsula, boasts spacious comfortable rooms and cottages to choose from. It is within easy walking distance from shopping, restaurants and a movie theater and much more. There is a park and a beach within driving distance, as well.
